Know-how

The cashmere goat develops a thick woolly fleece covered with long hair to protect itself from the extreme cold. Beneath the outer guard hair lies the down from which cashmere wool is produced. A single goat produces only around 100 grams of usable cashmere, meaning it takes 3 to 5 goats to make the equivalent of one jumper.

Cashmere goat down is the softest, lightest and warmest wool in the world. It is also the most exclusive and prestigious.

Long confined to the ready-to-wear sector, Philomène elevates Cashmere with elegance and mastery into an exceptional, high-end homeline collection.

The rarity and limited production of cashmere contribute to its exclusive character, making it all the more precious and distinguished.
